It feels fantastic to be back! Behind the site scenes - Thomas Neal industrial build with @titan_cranes lifting the Formsteel long run roofing up for RDL Group to install.
As of Tuesday, our sites and teams are now back into the swing of things! We're very grateful to be one of the few industries allowed to slowly open back up during level 3. To ensure New Zealand wins the fight against Covid-19, we're playing our part. By enforcing strict health and safety policies and creating "bubbles" around each site. As well as continuing support of our local suppliers, sub-contractors and NZ businesses whenever possible. Stay safe NZ, we're in this together #StayHomeForit #isolation #nzbuilders #nzbusiness
💥 Help us pick the best photo!💥 Today is Gumboot Friday! As we all know supporting mental health organisations is more important than ever right now. Many kiwis will be feeling stressed and uncertain of the future at the moment. So this year we asked your staff to muck in and chuck on their red bands! 👍 To show us all how they're keeping positive and busy during this countrywide lockdown. Help us pick the best photo! As you can see our team has been spending time within our bubbles, from family to flatmates! ( and pigs). Hello New Zealand! As we head into lockdown day two at home, remember to stay positive and connected, whatever comes our way, we will get through this together ❤️ Covid-19 alert level 4 means there are changes to the way we normally do things. While our head office doors are closed and our sites are all locked down, we are working remotely where possible with minimal staff. This is to ensure that we are all contactable and have multiple ways to reach you during this time, it is restricted and very busy with this situation so please have patience. Email is a great way to connect with us - For general enquires: Info@rdlgroup.nz Otherwise, our social media channels (Facebook, Instagram) are being monitored during this period, Send us a Covid-19 joke, we would love to have something to laugh and smile at! You may be asking what does this mean for your current project? Well, for the most part, we are business as usual, working remotely on planning, quoting and online operations. This means we will be ready to hit the ground running when NZ opens back up for business again. Currently, when it comes to site production/ onsite operations- this is a little tricky and we have no answers going forward yet. As the situation evolves in New Zealand, we will keep you updated on this position. We would like to say a big thank you to all of our staff, as a family-owned and operated business they mean everything to us. The safety of our communities and staff has always been paramount to us. We're in this together 🌿🇳🇿 At RDL Group we're putting plans in place to ensure our staff and communities are safe from the Covid-19 pandemic. There so many ways you can also make a difference, here are some ideas 1) Safely check in on neighbours, especially the elderly, people with disabilities and immune-compromised, they may need help collecting food and essentials while in self-isolation. 2) Buy local and only what you need, there's plenty to go around and panic buying is not going to help. 3) Keep up personal hygiene, stay away from others if you're sick. 4) Share some positive news and show kindness.
